5-8 | 1st woman (3rd woman) dance up between 2nd couple (4th couple) and cast off on own side to face 2nd corner. 1st man (3rd man) dance down between 4th couple (5th couple) and cast up to face 2nd corner. | |
9-12 | 1st and 3rd couples dance half reel of four with 2nd corners, turn partner with left hand 3/4 times at end of half reel to face 1st corner positions. Dancers in 1st man position (2nd man) and 5th woman position (5th woman) dance clockwise around set to change places. | |
13-16 | 1st and 3rd couples dance half reel of four with 1st corner positions, turn partner with left hand 3/4 times at end of half reel to face 2nd corner positions. Dancers in 1st woman position (4th man) and 5th man position (4th woman) dance clockwise around set to change places. | |
17-20 | 1st and 3rd couples dance half reel of four with 2nd corner positions, finish (without turning) in the center of the set facing out opposite side. Dancers in 1st man position (5th man) and 5th woman position (2nd woman) dance clockwise around set to change places. | |
21-24 | 1st woman dance a half reel of three with 2nd couple, giving right shoulder to 2nd man (in 1st woman position). 1st man and 3rd woman dance a half reel of four with 4th couple, 1st man giving right shoulder to 4th woman (in 3rd man position), 3rd woman giving right shoulder to 4th man (in 3rd woman position); 1st man and 3rd woman finish without passing left shoulders. 3rd man dance a half reel of three with 5th couple, giving right shoulder to 5th woman (in 5th man position). | |
