32 bar reel for 3 couples in a longwise set
by Tim Harrison (2003)
|1-2||1st and 2nd men, and 1st and 2nd women, with nearer hands joined, set.|
|3-4||1st couple dance down and round to second place and face out. 2nd couple cast into first place.|
|5-8||1st couple cast down below 3rd couple, dance up the center and cross (no hands) to face first corners, back-to-back in the middle of the set.|
|9-16||Set to corners and partner ("Hello-Goodbye" setting). Finish back-to-back in the middle of the set in second place, face own side of set.|
|17-24||Dance double triangles. Finish back-to-back in the middle of the set in second place; 1st man faces up, 1st woman faces down.|
|25-32||2nd, 1st, and 3rd couples dance (six bar) reels of three on the side, 1st couple gives right shoulder to their second corners. 1st couple cross with right hand to own side of the set on bars 31 & 32.|
Recommended tune: Any good reel.
Note: This dance was quickly devised for a class that needed to work on set to corners and partner.
