| 1-8 | 1st couple set advancing; turn once round, giving both hands; cast off one place; and turn one and 1/4 times round, giving left hands. To finish, face 1st corners. 2nd couple step up on bars 5&6. | |
| 9-16 | 1st couple set to and turn corners. Finish back-to-back in the middle of the set in 2nd position. Face opposite side of the dance. | |
| 17-24 | Couples 2, 3 & 1 dance double triangles. 1st couple finish on opposite side of the dance in 2nd position | |
| 25-32 | 1st couple Petronella turn and set, Petronella turn and set. Finish on own side of dance in 2nd position. | |
| Repeat, having passed a couple. |

Note: My teenage class loved dancing the pas de basque step. So, I wrote a dance that is entirely pas de basque. Many find this dance exhausting.
